* Cover letter introducing yourself and your project, and informing us why you want to be a filmmaker, no more than 3 pages. 
* Resume/CV, including name, address, email, and telephone of the writer, no more than 3 pages. 
* Project Synopsis/Treatment (summary) no more then 2 pages
* 7-10 page excerpt of the screenplay being used for the application
* Entire Screenplay being used for the application.
* Copy of passport or other ID indicating citizenship (any applicant with dual citizenship will not be considered, unless both countries fall within Maisha's target areas.)

Note:
* Strictly one project per applicant.
* Materials submitted will NOT be returned
* Only Applicants that are SHORT LISTED will be contacted via email. 
* Final participants' names will be made public in both print and electronic mediums
* All final participants are responsible for visa and vaccination costs associated with traveling to Uganda.
